About NASportz

Sport that brings a community together.

North Atlanta's community sports nonprofit, building champions and friendships through competitive play since 2019.

Our story

From one tennis league to a community.

NASportz was founded in 2019 with a simple mission: bring the North Atlanta community together through sport. What began as a small tennis league grew into an organisation serving players across several sports, with volunteers, sponsors and partner organisations behind it.

Our flagship North Atlanta Tennis League set the pattern: competitive doubles across three skill levels, run by people who play in it. In 2023 we added the North Atlanta Cricket League, bringing turf cricket to the community, and we have kept adding formats as players asked for them.

Everything we raise goes back into getting people on the court: youth clinics, equipment, court time, scholarship places and the volunteers who make match days happen.

Mission and values

What we believe sport can do.

At NASportz we believe in the power of sport to unite neighbours and inspire healthy, active lives.

  • Excellence

Competitive, well-run play at every skill level, with real standings and fair officiating.

  • Community

Leagues are where neighbours meet. We build the connections that outlast a season.

  • Inclusion

Players from every background and ability are welcome, and cost is never the barrier.

  • Growth

Clinics, mentoring and a clear path from first lesson to competitive league.

How we are run

A volunteer-led 501(c)(3).

NASportz is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organisation led by a volunteer board and run by directors and coordinators who play in the leagues themselves. Donations and sponsorships fund programs directly, and every donor receives an emailed receipt.

Our code of conduct is simple: good sportsmanship, respect for opponents and officials, and fair play. Organisers may remove anyone who does not uphold it.

League operations, registration, scheduling and live scoring run on SportzOS, a platform built by people from this community. NASportz does not sell software; it runs programs.
